Mailing Permits

Non-Profit Permit - Permit 200

This permit is used under the following conditions:

  • The mailing must consist of 200 or more pieces, or 50 pounds of domestically addressed pieces. (This does not include foreign, shuttle, or campus addresses.)
  • The mailing must be totally sponsored by OSU, or in cooperation with another Non-Profit organization that is REGISTERED AT THE CORVALLIS POST OFFICE.
  • Each mail piece must be identical in weight.
  • An individual mail piece must weigh less than 16 ounces.
  • Mail pieces must have a complete domestic return address (University or authorized user of permit i.e. members of OUS)

Pre-Sorted Standard Mail

This permit is used under the following conditions:

  • The mailing must consist of 200 or more pieces, or 50 pounds of domestically addressed pieces. (This does not include foreign, shuttle, or campus addresses.)
  • The mailing is sponsored by an organization that is not registered as a Non-Profit organzation with the Corvallis Post Office.
  • Each mail piece must be identical in weight.
  • An individual mail piece must weigh less than 16 ounces.
  • Mail pieces must have a complete domestic return address.

Pre-Sorted First Class Mail

This permit is used under the following conditions:

  • The mailing must consist of 500 or more pieces.
  • Must have a complete domestic return address.
  • Each piece must be identical in weight.
  • An individual mail piece must weigh less than 11 ounces.
  • This permit is used for automated mailings that are processed through Printing & Mailing Services' software program.
