The Mailing 101 workshop is a basic USPS guideline covering the definitions of bulk mailing. This class covers bulk mail, how to qualify for reduced postage and to make sense of the constant USPS changes. For instance, this class answers, what is bulk mail and why should I use it? The class is intended to expose a few of the postal regulations and help make some sense of the postal regulations.
Digital Printing & Variable Data
In this workshop, we provide information to help you make crucial printing decisions before, during, and after document design. Topics covered include defining specifications for determining whether a job will be printed digital or offset, tips for avoiding trouble with fonts and graphics, creating print friendly files for submission, and an overview of job submission options.

Adobe InDesign CS3
Introduction
A detailed overview of InDesigns feature set, updated to cover the newly released Creative Suite 3. If you are just starting to work with InDesign, this class will give you a jump start towards understanding how to use its powerful tools for formatting your documents. Topics include, Customizing the InDesign Work Area; Navigating Your Document; Using Master Pages and Guides; and Working with Text and Graphics. There are enough tips, tricks, and resources covered here to make this a worthwhile class for most intermediate users, too! Multiple handouts provided for reference after class. $40 fee

A journey through the more sophisticated tools that InDesign offers for implementing your page layout designs with efficiency and elegance. Many time saving tips and shortcuts covered. Topics include Paragraph, Character, and Object Styles; Formatting Text with Tabs and Tables; Successfully Placing Word Text; Pen Tool Tips; and Adobe Bridge. Multiple handouts provided for reference after class. $40 fee
