Coronavirus Specific Updates

UPS

  • Suspension of Service Guarantee: Effective March 26, 2020 and until further notice, we have suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments from any origin to any destination.
  • Changes to Commitment Times: Commitment times for UPS Next Day Air Saver and UPS 2nd Day Air A.M. services scheduled for delivery on or after March 30, 2020 will be extended to end-of-day until further notice.

 

FedEx

  • FedEx has suspended our money-back guarantee for all FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight and FedEx Office services effective immediately until further notice.
  • FedEx has suspended Signature Required for most shipments.

 

USPS

  • USPS service for holding mail delivered to a closed business. Typically mail is held for 10 days at the post office, they are extending that to 30 days.
  • The USPS has temporarily modified its procedures for obtaining signatures for deliveries that requested Signature Services including postal employees entering the recipient's name and keeping a safe distance when leaving the delivery at location.

 

Importantly, the CDC and World Health Organization, as well as the Surgeon General have indicated that there is currently no evidence that COVID-19 is being spread through mail.
